Angelin Preljocaj Intensive

Program Overview​:

From 20–22 July, we offer a three-day Angelin Preljocaj Choreographic Intensive for dancers aged 14+, focused on the precise, physical and highly musical movement language developed by Angelin Preljocaj.

• Claudia Desmet – stager and teacher of Angelin Preljocaj’s repertoire

• Ekaterina Shushakova – contemporary teacher and former dancer of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch

• Yoga or Pilates session (morning or evening, optional)

• 1h30 Contemporary class

• 3h choreographic workshop on Angelin Preljocaj’s work

About the workshop
The choreographic workshop is led by Claudia De-Smet, guiding dancers through the technical precision, clarity of form and dynamic contrasts characteristic of Preljocaj’s creations. Contemporary classes with Ekaterina Shushakovasupport this process by developing coordination, strength, spatial awareness and expressive quality.

Across the three days, participants immerse themselves in the repertory and choreographic principles of Angelin Preljocaj, working directly with artists experienced in performing and transmitting his work.
