Audition and Intensive

Program Overview​

For the first time in Aarhus, an exceptional training opportunity arrives for the next generation of young dancers.

​

From 12–14 October, Aarhus Dance Excellence proudly presents the English National Ballet School & 4Pointe Intensive, a unique three-day event created to bring world-class ballet training directly to Denmark's emerging talent.

​

Founded and directed by Damiano Pettenella, former First Ballet Master of Hamburg Ballet, Ballett am Rhein and Soloist of the Stuttgart Ballet, this exclusive intensive has been designed to give young dancers access to the highest levels of international ballet education without leaving Scandinavia.

​

Participants will work directly with Lynne Charles, Director of English National Ballet School and creator of the internationally renowned 4Pointe Method, in a program focused on technical excellence, artistic development, strength, alignment, and professional preparation.

The 4Pointe Method develops strength, balance, alignment, coordination and musicality, providing dancers with the technical tools required for advanced pointe work and professional training.

For dancers aged 14 and above, this intensive also represents a rare and valuable opportunity to be seen directly by the leadership of one of the world's most respected ballet institutions.
