Sharon Eyal Intensive

Program Overview​:

 

From 16–18 July we offer a Sharon Eyal Intensive for dancers aged 14+, focused on the highly physical and rhythm-driven choreographic language developed by Sharon Eyal.

Faculty​:

• Clyde Archer – long-time collaborator and performer of Sharon Eyal’s work

• Ekaterina Shushakova – contemporary teacher and former dancer of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch

Daily structure:

• Yoga or Pilates session (morning or evening, optional)

• 1h30 Contemporary class

• 3h choreographic workshop on Sharon Eyal’s work

About the workshop:
The intensive workshop is led by Clyde Archer, guiding dancers through the stylistic and physical demands of Eyal’s choreography — precision, musicality, grounded power and group dynamics.

Contemporary classes with Ekaterina Shushakova support this work by developing coordination, physical awareness and expressive clarity.

Across the three days, participants immerse themselves in the movement language of Sharon Eyal, working directly with artists who have performed and transmitted her creations internationally.
